P.H.M. was started in 1986 when a young college student, Pat Murphy, started doing lawn care during his summers off from studying engineering at the University of St. Thomas. Through his hard work and drive to do the very best, Pat quickly realized that he could actually make his summer job into an actual business. With his degree in engineering and his business savvy mind, that's exactly what he did.

  Since those years P.H.M. has grown many times over and Pat Murphy continues to run his business with the same enthusiasm and work ethic as he did when he first started.  Pat and his crews work all around the Twin Cities and continue to improve people's homes and lives.
